Tech in Motion recognizes finalists for award celebrating companies using tech to uplift our communities
Walnut Creek, CA (September 23, 2022) – For the second year in a row, Tech in Motion named Neolth a finalist for Best Tech for Good in the 2022 Timmy Awards, recognizing the top workplaces for tech professionals across North America. Neolth and these finalists have proactively responded to uncertainties and global challenges, leveraging technology to help their communities adapt, improve and grow. Neolth's community can vote here through Oct. 5th for who will represent the San Francisco region as ‘Best Tech for Good’ in the national round, judged by experts from companies including VMware, Netflix, and Etsy.
“Tech in Motion is thrilled to be able to honor companies that go above and beyond in working to create a better future,” says Lindsay Lewis, Director of Marketing at Motion Recruitment, Tech in Motion’s creator. “Our Tech for Good finalists have fearlessly stepped up to use technology through their products and services to uplift their communities, which is worthy of celebration.”
Neolth, a global leader in youth mental health, provides stress and mental health support to students through their self-guided mobile app. With its suite of digital tools, Neolth also has products for teachers and healthcare providers. The company has won multiple awards for their work, including the 2022 Youth Mental Health World Economic Forum Challenge and was a 2021 Timmy Best Tech for Good Finalist.
“It's exciting to named a Tech for Good Timmy Finalist for a second time,” said CEO & Co-founder Dr. Katherine Grill. “Since our nomination last year, the company has continued to grow in scale and impact. We've launched research studies in Iowa, Miami, and Oregon, expanded in APAC, and even launched a new product for classroom use. I’m proud of my team for the continued recognition of our work helping young people.”
The selection criteria for the Best Tech for Good are based on the following:
- Applying technology to tackle today’s most pressing social, global, and environmental challenges.
- Developing/employing tech to set up solutions, improve quality of life & help communities adapt.
- Embodying and fostering the spirit of giving back and lifting people up when they need it the most.
In addition to Best Tech for Good, the 2022 Timmys will also be handing out awards in five other categories: Best Work Culture, Best Tech Enterprise Employer, Best Tech Startup, Best Tech Workplace for Diversity, and Best Tech Manager.
