Neolth is thrilled to announce the winners of our 2024 Ambassador Innovation Challenge, where students from around the globe showcased their creativity and commitment to reimagining student mental health. With participants spanning 8 countries and ages 14-40, this year's competition truly reflected a global effort towards innovation.
Above & Beyond Award: Mitchell Kabenda for their project 'Stress Management for College Students'. Mitchell's project impressed the judges with its comprehensive approach to teaching healthy coping skills tailored to the challenges faced by college students. The detailed wireframes and prototypes provided a clear vision, demonstrating exceptional effort.
Outside the Box Award: Hanna Traslosheros Abascal for their project 'It's Ok'. Hanna's project stood out for its creative addition of a customizable mascot to Neolth, designed collaboratively by ambassadors and personalized by end-users. This concept aligns perfectly with Neolth's commitment to personalization and community engagement.
Science Communicator Award: Payton Johnson for their project 'Aid with Perspective'. Payton's project proposed a collaborative approach where youth and Neolth's healthcare professionals co-create practices sensitive to race, gender, and sexuality, integrating lived experiences into therapeutic tools. The judges praised its potential to foster cultural awareness and inclusivity in mental health practices.
All Star Award: Susan Gadegone for their project 'A Mental Health Toolkit'. Susan's multimedia toolkit idea, combining Neolth resources with external multimedia elements like music and quotes, impressed with its practicality and inclusiveness. The judges highlighted its potential to provide personalized, in-the-moment support to students using diverse learning styles.
