Neolth, a pioneering mental health organization, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Health to produce a YouTube series focused on promoting healthy relationships among adolescents. This groundbreaking initiative aims to support mental health awareness and foster positive social interactions among youth across the state of New Mexico.
Neolth has been working in the content creation space for years, producing over 500 vlog & blog series for youth mental health. The majority of these series are hosted on Neolth's mobile app. The YouTube series will feature a diverse range of engaging and informative videos designed to empower adolescents to cultivate healthy relationships in their lives. These videos will address the specific challenges and concerns faced by adolescents, including communication skills, boundary-setting, and conflict resolution.
What sets this series apart is its unique approach to content creation. Neolth is proud to partner with youth advisors, ensuring that the perspectives and voices of young people are prioritized throughout production. By co-creating the videos with youth advisors, Neolth aims to make the content relatable and relevant to its target audience.
Leading the charge in this endeavor are Dr. Katherine Grill, CEO of Neolth, and Kenny Thomas, NBA star & Advisor at Neolth. The pair have recently been announced as Mental Health Ambassadors within the state of New Mexico. Dr. Grill brings her expertise in mental health and youth empowerment to the project, guiding the development of content that is evidence-based. Kenny Thomas, known for his dedication to community engagement, will lend his influential voice to the series, inspiring and motivating adolescents to strive for healthy relationships in their lives.
"We are thrilled to partner with the New Mexico Department of Health to address the critical issue of adolescent mental health through this YouTube series," said Dr. Katherine Grill, CEO of Neolth. "By leveraging innovations in digital media and technology, we aim to use this publicly accessible YouTube series to support teens as they navigate the complexities of relationships and mental well-being."
The YouTube series will be disseminated across the state of New Mexico towards the end of 2024, reaching a wide audience of adolescents, parents, educators, and mental health professionals. Through this collaborative effort, Neolth and the New Mexico Department of Health are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
