We are thrilled to introduce our newest intern cohort - our new Spring 2023 interns! This diverse group of students and educators are working towards more accessible, equitable mental health resources for students everywhere.
Education Interns
Our education interns, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Jessica, and Isabel, are spending the semester working on our Educator Platform and community. They are creating educational materials to help educators build the confidence and competence to implement SEL programs in the classroom, and helping to build a community of educators around the country to expand access to SEL and mental health curriculum in schools. With a diverse background in special education, school psychology, social-emotional learning, and clinical psychology, this group brings invaluable insights into what educators need and want in an SEL product.
Outreach & Engagement Interns
Our outreach & engagement interns, Aliza, Aaditi, Mickella, and Drishti, are spending the semester working on various outreach projects and marketing materials. They’ll host virtual events for school administrators, counselors, and teachers this semester, and will continue working on business and outreach initiatives such as lead generation and developing buyer personas. This incredible group of students brings creativity and a strong understanding of public health initiatives, allowing them to effectively communicate mental health priorities and further educate K-12 stakeholders on digital mental health and SEL.
Content Creation Interns
Our content creation interns, Aaron, Chelsea, Isabella, CJ, and Bianca, are led by our long-time Ambassador and Intern, Margaret, in creating content! This group creates weekly blogs and videos for the Neolth app, sharing their personal experiences with mental health, including their struggles with dyslexia and ADHD, anxiety, and being a first-generation student. Their work will help us to break down the stigma around mental health, making their peers feel less alone. It will also allow school staff to gain insight into what students are really going through - and make decisions about how to support them accordingly. Stay tuned for their blog and video series', going live later this year!
Editorial Interns
Our editorial interns, Gavin, Ginger, Nishat, and Mike, are spending the semester writing blogs for our Forum. They’ll write about a variety of relevant topics, including how schools can help students with various mental health concerns, the importance of SEL, all about digital mental health, and more! With a diverse background and strong research and analytical skills, this group is set to help educators, counselors, and administrators understand even the most complex mental health and SEL issues. Subscribe to the Forum to get notified when their blogs are released!
We want to thank our wonderful group of interns for their continued hard work and dedication to making a difference in the mental health of students everywhere. We're consistently impressed with their ideas, professionalism, and bravery in their pursuit of this mission.
