Ali Zaidi is a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, studying Neuroscience and Applied Analytics. He joins Neolth as a Student Advisor, to help the company in their continued commitment to improved product design & student-centered experiences.
In addition to his school work, Ali is actively involved in the community volunteering in the Emergency Department at LAC + USC Medical Center. Ali also conducts Alzheimer's Disease research, focused on treatment intervention to improve cognitive performance and reduce brain aging, at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
Ali is passionate about reducing barriers to quality healthcare, especially regarding adolescent mental health and well-being. Throughout high school, he was a youth leader at a local hospice in their Circle of Hope program that was created to help students who experienced the loss of a loved one. At USC, he serves as a Residential Assistant and has collaborated with the student health department to connect college students with mental health support.
When asked about Neolth, Ali said, "I am a big fan of the work Neolth has done so far to provide mental health support tailored specifically for students. The stigma surrounding mental health has certainly shifted in the past few years, but more work is needed to be done to increase access to mental health support and organizations like Neolth is apart of the solution. I found out about Neolth when I was researching accessible mental health support for a resident of mine that had asked me for suggestions. I recommended Neolth and they have loved their experience thus far and still use it today!"
Neolth is looking forward to working with Ali to support student wellbeing. Welcome Ali to the team!
