Tech in Motion recognizes finalists for award celebrating companies using tech to uplift our communities
San Francisco, (September 15, 2021) – Tech in Motion named Neolth a finalist for Best Tech for Good in the 2021 Timmy Awards, recognizing the top workplaces for tech professionals across North America. Neolth and these finalists have proactively responded to uncertainties and global challenges, leveraging technology to help their communities adapt, improve and grow. To help Neolth win the Best Tech for Good Award, vote here through Sept. 27th. Top finalists will represent the region as ‘Best Tech for Good’ in the national round, judged by experts from companies including Mailchimp, Netflix and Salesforce.
“When recognizing a need, some have fearlessly stepped up to use technology through their products and services to uplift their communities,” says Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Motion Recruitment, Tech in Motion’s creator. “Tech in Motion is thrilled to have the opportunity to honor these companies that have gone above and beyond in working to create a better future.”
Neolth's mission is to increase access to mental health care for teens and young adults. Their self-guided app helps teens build resilience, stress less and become part of a compassionate community of peers. The company has won multiple awards for their app, including the 2020 Startup of the Year EdTech award.
“Neolth is honored to be a 2021 Tech for Good Timmy Finalist,” said CEO & Co-founder Dr. Katherine Grill. “Most innovation in tech has focused on adult mental health, yet our country is facing a youth mental health crisis. I’m proud of my team for being recognized for our work helping young people.”
The selection criteria for the Best Tech for Good is based on the following:
· Applying technology to tackle today’s most pressing social, global, and environmental challenges.
· Developing or employing tech to set up solutions, improve quality of life, help communities adapt.
· Embodying and fostering the spirit of giving back and lifting people up when they need it the most.
In addition to Best Tech for Good, the 2021 Timmys will also be handing out awards in four other categories: Best Work Culture, Best Tech Enterprise Employer, Best Tech Startup and Best Tech Manager. To help Neolth win the Best Tech for Good Award, vote here through Sept. 27th!
After the success of last year’s virtual event, the 2021 Timmy Awards ceremony on Oct. 28 will once again be an entirely digital experience announcing the national winners live and hearing from the Timmys’ notable judges. For more info on the event, finalists or voting, visit the Timmys website.
